Steve Mullen, your guide and captain, is a native of Jacksonville with years of saltwater fishing experience. He has fished in many tournament arenas, including various blue water big game events including: Southern Kingfish Association tournaments, and many local redfish, flounder, and sheepshead tournaments.  

  Captain Steve is most proud, however, of his charitable fishing initiatives. In 2009, he partnered with the Jacksonville USO and Mayport Naval Base to found American Hero Fishing Charters. And in 2013, he founded the Police Athletic League Fishing Club. Additionally, he has taught more than 100 children from underserved communities how to fish through practical exercises, field trips, and classroom lessons.

  As a family man, Captain Steve enjoys nothing more than seeing the smiles on kids’ faces when they achieve their first or most impressive catch. Fortunately, the waters of the First Coast offer plenty of opportunities to catch a wide range of fish. It is truly an incredible adventure for people of all ages—and Captain Steve is thrilled to welcome you aboard.
