2025 Fishing Camp Dates:
June 9-13, June 16-20, and July 14-18
Reward the youth angler in your life by sending them to Fish Hunter Charter’s Summer Fishing Camp. This is a saltwater fishing camp. Each child will enjoy 5 days of small group (6) learning and angling led by Captain Steve. Captain Steve is a retired police officer, a professional full-time guide, and a Coast Guard licensed Captain. He enjoys sharing his years of fishing knowledge and experience with new anglers and those who want to polish their skills.
Fish Hunter Charter’s Summer Youth Fishing Camp has a dedicated lesson plan that was developed and successfully taught to many kids during Captain Steve’s time instructing youth at the Police Athletic League after-school programs. Youth will learn knot tying, cast netting, fish identification, bait selection, equipment-use, and safety on the water and boat. The lessons have been adapted to the field where they are taught while in the boat or along the water’s edge (no classrooms here.).
You can expect your youth angler to fish 4-5 hours daily with instruction included. There is preparation and clean up time, including cleaning fish, each day as well. Great friendship and team building are encouraged during these fishing camps.
